We welcomed family and friends to Timber Oaks in late September! Our daughter Shannon and her husband Dan and Dan's parents Neal and Terri visited Lancaster on their way to a family wedding in New York, a bicycling friend from Eugene who was born and raised in Lancaster stopped by with his brother, and we had some fun interactions with our new neighbors! I unfortunately didn't take pictures of the family and friends at the house, but below are some other pics!

Michael and I ride with the Eugene Gears Bicycle Club and he and his brother Lester recently visited Timber Oaks. Michael rode in our area as a younger cyclist. He says the hills of southern Lancaster County prepared him for the hills of Oregon! Lester worked for Hess Homes in the 1970s, under Randy's Uncle John. Lester is impressed with the build!

Our next door neighbors on the east side, Carl and Shirley, have some adorable grandaughters who brought a carved pumpkin to Mr. Craig.

Our next door neighbor on the west side Darin is an engineer at the Strasburg Railroad (https://strasburgrailroad.com/). We had dinner on the rails with Darin and his wife Sally, and then we got a special tour of the engine house. Steam trains are fascinating!
